In order to ensure the most sustainable and efficient treatment and use of the collected waste, we have a production process in which the maximum amount of raw material for the production of biofuel is prepared from the collected used cooking oil, and the waste generated during the production, is used for the production of biogas.
Since 2012, UAB “Biomotorai” has been certified as a sustainable biomass collection, processing, and supply point according to the Renewable Energy Directive. According to the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification system (ISCC), an audit is conducted annually to ensure, that:
- Waste supply chain is clear and traceable from the point of waste generation, i.e., specific cafes, restaurants, fast-food outlets, etc.
- Every waste collection is supported by documents.
Every our client, collaborating with us, is a sustainable and responsible business, that cares about the environment and public welfare.
By encouraging the separate collection of used cooking oil waste, we help ensure, that waste:
- ❌ Will not be simply poured into the environment, polluting water bodies, and having a negative impact on ecosystems;
- ❌ Will not be poured into the sewer system, preventing the formation of fat blockages in pipes. This helps avoid significant costs for cleaning and maintenance of sewage system;
- ❌ Will not overload wastewater treatment facilities, thus not disrupting the normal wastewater treatment process and avoiding increased costs for the maintenance and repair of these facilities;
- ❌ Will not be incinerated, preventing harmful pollutants, including solid particles and greenhouse gases, from entering the air.
In order to create a safe environment for future generations, we help ensure, that the collected waste:
- Will be used as a raw material for production of advanced biofuel;
- Will be used as a raw material to conserve natural resources and fossil fuels (oil);
- In every liter of diesel fuel pumped at gas stations, there is a certain percentage of biodiesel (LT – 7.2, EE – 7.5, LV – 6.5).
In order to ensure the most sustainable and efficient processing and use of collected used cooking oil waste, we have a production process, where the maximum amount of raw material for biodiesel production is prepared from collected used cooking oil, and the waste generated during production is used for biogas production.
